The art collection at the Thiel Gallery consists of c. 940 works, including paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures. The museum also houses c. 160 objects of furniture and design, most of which originally belonged to Ernest and Signe Thiel.
Our archives contain the Ernest Thiel letter collection, writings, and photographs, as well as part of the artist Eugène Jansson’s papers and sketches. In addition, the Thiel Gallery cares for the artist Richard Bergh’s archive, that apart from letters, other writings, and photographs, contains the artist's collection of sketch books.
